The Otherside THCA Flower Lineup
Our flower is grown in batches on Otherside Farm, so the shelf changes through the year. Strains come in, sell through, and rotate out, and a few are one-time runs that will not come back. This page is the answer to the question we get most: what do you actually have right now?
Updated September 2026. We revise this guide whenever the lineup changes, so it is safe to bookmark.

The strains, one at a time
A note before the descriptions: effects vary from person to person. What follows is how each cultivar is commonly described, not a promise about what you will feel.
Cadillac Rainbow
The potency leader of the current lineup at 30% THCA. Pure Michigan crossed with Runtz, indoor grown, with dense structure, deep gas, and a bright citrus edge. Commonly described as opening with a euphoric lift before settling into grounded body relaxation, which puts it in late afternoon and evening territory for most people. See Cadillac Rainbow.
Garlic Cocktail
Mimosa crossed with GMO Cookies, and one of the frostiest cultivars we have grown. It leans slightly sativa, which makes it the odd one out in an indica-heavy lineup, and the nose is exactly what the name suggests: sweet, sugary garlic. Tested at 26% THCA. See Garlic Cocktail.
Munch
An indica-dominant cultivar that blends sweet and skunk, tested at 26% THCA. Commonly described as deeply relaxing. Currently available in 1/8 oz. See Munch.
Candy Rain
A super-frosty indica-dominant hybrid with sweet, citrusy, funky fruit notes all the way through, tested at 25% THCA. People tend to describe it as relaxing but still focused. See Candy Rain.
Permanent Marker
The most searched strain we have ever carried, and a very limited run for us, so if it is on the shelf when you read this, it will not be for long. A three way Seed Junky cross of Biscotti, Sherb Bx and Jealousy with a sharp marker-ink nose over gas and sweet cookie dough. Our indoor lot tested at 24% THCA and came through with the purple showing clearly. See Permanent Marker.
Strawberry Poundcake
Strawberry Meltshake crossed with Frosted Poundcake. Large, light green buds under heavy trichome coverage, with baked pastry and fresh strawberry carrying from the first smell through the exhale. A balanced hybrid tested at 22.2% THCA, and the one we point people to when they ask for something that works any time of day. See Strawberry Poundcake.
Strawberry Guava
Strawberry Bana crossed with Papaya. A hybrid commonly described as both relaxed and uplifting, with strong strawberry over subtle guava, and a flavor that tracks the nose closely. Tested at 21% THCA. See Strawberry Guava.
Lung Buster
Don Mega crossed with Undder Madness, and the loudest jar in the room: garlic funk, sour gas, earthy spice, and a diesel-heavy finish. Commonly described as fast and intense, and better suited to experienced consumers. The current lot's numbers are on the lab report linked from the product page. See Lung Buster.
Beyond flower
Most of the lineup is also rolled into prerolls, which is the easy way to try a strain before committing to an eighth. On the concentrate side, the current offering is the Northern Lights #5 live resin disposable, which tested at 73% THCA.
Why the lineup rotates
We are a family farm, not a warehouse. Everything here is grown in batches at Otherside Farm in the mountains outside Asheville, North Carolina, and a batch is done when it is done. Some strains come back run after run. Others, like Permanent Marker, are one-time releases. That is the tradeoff of buying from the people who grew it, and we would rather sell through a great lot than stretch a mediocre one.
If a strain you loved is gone, it lives on in our strain library, which lists every cultivar we have ever grown, including the sold out ones. Checking there is also the fastest way to see whether something is back.
Every jar has a lab report
Every lot we sell is third party tested, and we publish the actual certificate of analysis rather than summarizing it. Each product page above links to the COA for the exact lot being sold, and the full set lives on our certificates of analysis page. If a shop cannot show you a current COA for the exact lot you are buying, that is the thing to be careful about, not the number on the label.
A quick note on legality
All of our THCA flower is sold as hemp, grown and tested to contain not more than 0.3% delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis, which is the federal standard set by the Farm Act. State law varies and changes often, so check your own state before ordering. We ship where it is legal for us to do so, and you can also find us in person at our retail locations around Asheville.
Frequently asked questions
How often does the lineup change?
Continuously, because everything is grown in batches. A strain typically stays on the shelf for a few months, and we update this page when the lineup changes.
Will a sold out strain come back?
Some do, run after run. Others are one-time releases and will not. The strain library lists everything we have ever grown, and product pages stay up when a strain sells out, so you can check back on the exact one you want.
Which strain is the strongest?
By tested THCA, Cadillac Rainbow at 30% leads the current lineup. But the COA for the specific lot is the only number that matters, and a well grown lot in the low 20s with a full terpene expression and a proper cure will beat a rushed high-number lot.
Where can I see the lab results?
Every product page links to the certificate of analysis for the exact lot on sale, and our COA page collects all current reports in one place.
Do you ship THCA flower?
We ship where it is legal for us to do so. State law varies, so check your own state before ordering.
Is THCA flower legal?
It is sold as hemp under the federal Farm Act standard, meaning not more than 0.3% delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis. State law is the part that varies, so check yours.
